What is Covered
All your vet bills associated with diagnostic tests, surgeries, hospitalization, supplies and prescription medications (including genetic conditions).
Reasonable costs* associated with diagnostic tests, surgeries, and treatment.
What is Not Covered
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Hip dysplasia for pets that are 6 years or older at time of enrollment.
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Any congenital disorder
  • Any hereditary condition
  • Multiple incidents (more than one foreign object ingestion in a 12-month period).
  • Diagnosis, treatment or surgery related to Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) or Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) damage occurring or symptomatic within 12 months of effective date.
  • Pre-existing and recurring illness or injury prior to the effective date, unless 180 days have passed since cure and last treatment (i.e. if your pet got cancer or arthritis in year 1, they would not be covered in year 2 unless you purchased the Sterling Plan – which covers recurring and ongoing illnesses – or the Continuing Care Rider – which gives $1,000 - $2,500 per incident coverage and a $2,500 - $6,000 lifetime limit for recurring illnesses.)
Policy Payout Limits
Over the life of your pet there are no limits per year, per claim, per illness, per procedure or per condition.
$2,500 - $5,000 per incident limit subject to an annual cap of $8,000 - $13,000, depending on plan.
Reimbursement Options
You select one of 3 reimbursement levels (90%, 80%, or 70%).

Based on your selection, your policy covers the actual veterinary bills for costs arising from any injury or illness, less the veterinary exam fee and your selected annual deductible.

Same reimbursement level also applies to higher emergency & specialty vet costs.
Your policy would cover 80% of reasonable costs* arising from injury or illness, less the annual deductible, up to per incident limit and annual limit.
