Monroe is just one of the many homeless pets that you are helping.
If Monroe isn't one of the cutest puppies you've ever seen, then get your eyes checked! Are you in need of a little puppy love?
Only nine weeks old and five pounds, this terrier mix is currently learning house- and crate-training as well as doggy manners. Monroe is tolerant of other dogs and older children; she hasn't met a cat yet, but the shelter can do a feline test. Coming from an overcrowded California shelter, Monroe needs a loving home with lots of attention. She loves playing with toys and socializing with other dogs and is very sweet and loyal. Monroe is spayed, partially vaccinated, microchipped, and given worm and flea treatments.

People United for Pets, or PUP, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter based in Issaquah, Washington. The group specializes in small breed dog rescue, but takes in the occasional cat as well. PUP dogs are given excellent medical care at the shelter, including full vaccinations, spaying/neutering, microchipping, and flea and parasite treatments. Foster homes work with pets to provide socialization and basic behavioral training.
