You provide most information voluntarily when you apply for pet insurance or submit a claim for benefits. Additionally, we may need to obtain or verify information from third parties, such as requesting pet medical records from your veterinarian.

The information we request from you or collect from third parties relates to your transaction with us such as your pet's information, your name, address, phone number, e-mail, address and bank or credit card information.
How your information may be used
We collect and use information to evaluate requests for insurance or claims, to maintain communication with you in order to provide you with service, to administer our products or services, and to process your transactions. We never sell or rent the information you provide to us to third parties.
Other personal information
In addition, we may collect user information for our web site via cookies, alphanumeric identifiers transmitted from a web site to a visitor's browser. We collect such information solely for the purpose of better customer service, enabling our ability to identify users and create content to meet their needs. While it is possible to disable cookies via your browser settings, doing do may not allow us to enhance your web experience. Non-personally identifiable information may be collected for use in Google Analytics features, such as Demographics and Interest Reporting, Remarketing, Display Network Impression Reporting, and DoubleClick Campaign Manager Integration. We partnered with Authorize.net, a CyberSource company, to provide credit card processing services. CyberSource is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCIDSS") as a Level 1 service provider. CyberSource has been compliant with PCI DSS is the bankcard industry's most stringent security standard. Examples of CyberSource's security measures include: physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards; sophisticated security monitoring tools; documented security policies; use of strong encryption for transmissions of order information to and from CyberSource customers; restricted access of personally identifiable information; and periodic security audits by third party security experts.
Parties to whom we may disclose information
We only disclose your information as necessary to effect, administer, or enforce your transaction with us, or in conjunction with servicing your insurance policy through insurance carriers or their representatives. When we disclose information to our service partners, we require the company to maintain the confidentiality of the information.
