dog adoption

Loving and ready to be adopted, Tater's needs a pet parent who can look past his mild health issues and see the loyal dog inside.

Tater is a friendly, people-pleasing dog who could use a caring pet parent to continue his weight loss routine. Will you help improve Tater’s quality of life?

Around seven years old, this white, black, and tan Cocker Spaniel is very amicable and gets along with children and other dogs as well as cats. When he was brought to the shelter, Tater was very overweight. He is currently shedding pounds fairly quickly but needs a responsible pet parent to continue to take care of his health needs, which also includes mild allergies. Tater is very eager to please and likes to be reminded of what a good boy he is. Tater is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

About the Adoption Group

Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue is a Colorado-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that takes in surrendered and rescued Cocker Spaniels, often from other shelters. Veterinarians evaluate the dogs both physically and for behavior issues and any health problems are cared for. A network of volunteers’ foster homes allows the dogs to be cared for and socialized or trained if needed. RRCR also neuters and spays all dogs as well as fully vaccinates and microchips them.
