This one year old is sweet and affectionate but could use some training and exercise to curb his energy.
Squirt is a Bassett Hound with big, baleful eyes. How can you resist him?
This affectionate, amicable dog is around one year old and still has some puppy in him. Squirt enjoys belly rubs and has lots of energy – an owner who would take him for walks would be best. He also needs some basic training, but is very eager to please! Squirt gets along with other dogs, but his behavior around cats and children is unknown. He’s fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

About the Adoption Group
Friends for Life Animal Rescue is an Arizona-based, volunteer-run organization that works to save and improve the lives of homeless and stray animals. In addition, the group also runs a program called Project HART, spaying and neutering feral cats. Friends for Life is a big advocate of spaying and neutering cats and dogs, and aims to reduce population in local areas. The organization also refrains from using euthanasia unless an animal’s quality of life is severely affected and they are in too much pain to live happily. Friends for Life also partners with local groomers, pet supply stores, training groups, and veterinary clinics to provide medical care and essential supplies.
