This one year old is sweet and affectionate but could use some training and exercise to curb his energy.

Squirt is a Bassett Hound with big, baleful eyes. How can you resist him?

This affectionate, amicable dog is around one year old and still has some puppy in him. Squirt enjoys belly rubs and has lots of energy – an owner who would take him for walks would be best. He also needs some basic training, but is very eager to please! Squirt gets along with other dogs, but his behavior around cats and children is unknown. He’s fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Contact Friends for Life Animal Rescue to meet Squirt today!

About the Adoption Group

Friends for Life Animal Rescue is an Arizona-based, volunteer-run organization that works to save and improve the lives of homeless and stray animals. In addition, the group also runs a program called Project HART, spaying and neutering feral cats. Friends for Life is a big advocate of spaying and neutering cats and dogs, and aims to reduce population in local areas. The organization also refrains from using euthanasia unless an animal’s quality of life is severely affected and they are in too much pain to live happily. Friends for Life also partners with local groomers, pet supply stores, training groups, and veterinary clinics to provide medical care and essential supplies.

This six month old loves exercising and playing with all creatures!

Biscuit is an adorable mixed puppy who was abandoned by his former owner. Won’t you be his pet parent and give him the love he deserves?

At just six months old, Biscuit was found abandoned in a trailer. He enjoys playing with toys, other dogs, and humans and of course going on walks. Because of his age, Biscuit is pretty energetic and has a certain activity level that must be met by any potential pet parents. Biscuit is neutered.

Contact Second Chance Center to meet Biscuit today!

About the Adoption Group

Second Chance Center for Animals (SCCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Flagstaff, Arizona. The group does not euthanize animals except in cases where a medical or behavioral condition is too severe and affects the animal’s quality of life. In addition to taking in dogs and cats, SCCA also provides shelter and homes for birds, reptiles, and small mammals. SCCA opened in 2004 and evolved from a veterinary clinic, specializing in the North Arizona area; eventually the need for a state-wide shelter became overwhelming, so SCCA expanded. Rascal is a Labrador Retriever mix puppy with a passion for the outdoors. Do you need a hiking or jogging buddy? Rascal is the dog for you!

This dog loves everything about being outside – dog parks, chasing squirrels and ducks, and of course daily walks. Rascal is very sociable and enjoys the company of other dogs, children, and adults; he hasn’t met a lot of cats, but Rascal would probably be fine. He can walk on a leash and is house- and crate-trained, but could use a little more obedience training – Rascal is a puppy after all! Rascal is also up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.
