top pet names 2016Finally, the news we’ve all been waiting for… it’s Healthy Paws’ top pet names for 2016!

We know deciding on a name for your new pet is one of the first and most important actions you take, right after deciding on the right pup or kitty. From there you can monogram the leash, engrave the tags, and get a blanket with his or her name emblazoned across it. It’s the first step toward welcoming a new pet into your home, christening him or her as a member of the family. The next step is, of course, protecting that new family member with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.

After running an exhaustive search of hundreds of thousands of pets in our database, we’re excited to unleash our findings. Thanks to all the pet parents who’ve enrolled in the past year!

So, let’s cut to the chase! Top dog names this year are Charlie and Bella; top cat names are Oliver and Luna. But that’s not all! We’ve also found the most original and unique names – see below to find our favorites.
