INXS has been adopted as of April 2019!

Discover more adoptable pets in the Healthy Paws and Pawsitive Alliance “Why Not Me?” program.

We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

MEET INXS.

Age/Gender/Size: 1 yr old / Female / 7lbs

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Likes: Inxs loves her kitty treats & getting her cheeks scratched!

Dislikes: Overwhelming situations, kittens

Special Considerations: Inxs is very shy and will need some time to open up.

Inxs is a sweet, healthy kitty looking for a home where she can get some love! She enjoys calm companionship and is looking for her tranquil oasis. Her foster home noted that she’s quiet and shy, and that she just needs a little time to learn to trust people.

Inxs, named after the band, was brought to the shelter after living under a porch with many other cats, none of which were considered pets. She hasn’t had much human interaction aside from occasional outdoor feeding before entering her foster home. She’s fairly independent because of this, but she’s not an aggressive cat. Her tendency is to run and hide, rather than be confrontational.

Inxs likes her own space, but she loves to have a human scratch her cheeks! Once she’s comfortable, she likes to be where the action is (a part of the family but not forced into it). She does enjoy the company of other cats; however, doesn’t like the bouncy energy level of kittens. She doesn’t interact with dogs. She would probably make an excellent mouser.

Inxs has been fully vetted, and is up to date on vaccinations, flea-treated and is spayed. She is available at Motley Zoo (Redmond, WA); you can begin the adoption process on their site or you can email: info@motleyzoo.org. Their phone number is (206) 453-8480.

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
