Max has been adopted as of July 2018!

Discover more adoptable pets in the Healthy Paws and Pawsitive Alliance “Why Not Me?” program.

We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

MEET MAX.

Age/Gender/Size: 3 years / Male / Large

Breed: Kangal/Mastiff

Likes: Running around and playing with his toys

Dislikes: Other animals in the house

Special Considerations: Max is a big dog and needs an owner that can keep up with him!

Meet Max! He is a playful 3-year-old Kangal/Mastiff mix who loves his daily walks and hugs. This handsome fellow loves to romp around the yard and play with all his toys. He’s got a great personality and always has a big, goofy smile on his face. He would love the affection of a human pal and someone to play with!

Max is a large boy and at 127 lbs, he’s looking for someone strong to be able to give him his daily walks and hugs! He has mastered the affectionate ‘big lean dog’ – so if you’re looking for a good leg workout, he’s your guy! Because of his size, he would do best in a house with a big yard he can run around in. In addition, he needs to be the only animal within the house – which means no dogs, no cats, and nothing furry or feathered!

Max is familiar with the farm life and loves to run around and explore, but because of a high prey drive, he should not be left alone.

If you’re looking for an energetic best friend to spend your life with, then this handsome boy might be the one for you! Max is fully vetted and neutered by Auburn Valley Humane Society in Auburn, WA. If you are interested in meeting this bundle of energy, please call the front desk at (253) 249-7849 for assistance or ask for Tati. You can also email: info@auburnvalleyhs.org.

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
