We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

MEET HANK.

Age/Gender/Size: 6½ years/ Male / Small

Breed: Miniature Pinscher Mix

Likes: Playing with his favorite toys and snuggle

Dislikes: Not being the center of attention

Special Considerations: He needs privacy and space while he eats

Meet Hank! This spunky 6-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix is full of of energy and enthusiasm! With big, perky ears and the cutest face, he is sure to brighten your day!

Hank is a staff favorite! “Hank is a handsome hunk of a fella. He loves agility, and his kooky side really comes out when he plays with toys. But he also likes to snuggle in your lap after a hard day of fun,” says Lynette, an Adoption Counselor at Homeward Pets, the adoption center representing Hank. Because of his energetic spirit, he would make the perfect walking and running buddy!

Because he loves being the center of attention, Hank would do best in a home with no children and no other dogs. He is also a talker, which means he wouldn’t be a good fit for condo/apartment living. Hank is a big fan of his food (who isn’t?!) and can be quite protective of it, so he needs a home that can give him his space and privacy during meal time.

If you’re looking for a spunky and active pal, come meet Hank today! He is available at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, WA. For more information, email info@homewardpet.org or call: 425-488-4444.

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
