We’ve partnered with Pawsitive Alliance for the #WhyNotMePets campaign to give difficult-to-home pets an extra paw up. These lovable pets are ready to find their forever homes.

MEET ROXY.

Age/Gender/Size: 8 Yrs./Spayed Female/7 Lbs.
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Likes: Playing, spa days
Dislikes: Sharing you with another pet!
Special Considerations: Medications & special diet; adult only house

Roxy is a Staff Pick! “Roxy is a gorgeous, mellow kitty. Nobody will give you sweeter ‘mews’ as a hello. See why we are smitten by this marvelous cat,” says Laurel, Adoption Counselor at Homeward Pet Adoption Center. “Not only does Roxy have the softest fur around, but she has big, sweet eyes, and the most endearing personality!” Roxy spends her days warming the laps of volunteers, purring loudly and playing when the mood strikes her.

Roxy would be best as the sole pet in her new home, mainly so she can have all the love and attention to herself. “After all, she does deserve every ounce of it,” continues Laurel. Roxy would benefit from a predictable routine in an adult-only home, especially due to her medical needs. For more information on those issues, please contact the shelter.

If you’re looking for a kitty to keep your lap warm and your heart full, look no further than this gal. Come meet her today – you’ll quickly fall in love! Roxy has been fully vetted and spayed, and is ready for her forever home at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, WA. For more information, visit their site: homewardpet.org or call 425.488.4444.

Every Wednesday, Healthy Paws will highlight a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. Visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
