Why Not Me? Home for the Pawlidays
This holiday season, Pawsitive Alliance is proud to announce a one-of-a-kind virtual adoption event called #Home4thePawlidays! Beginning December 1 and running through December 18, Pawsitive Alliance has teamed up with various Washington state shelters to highlight extra special pets who need a boost to find their forever home. Pet parents and supporters of animal welfare can help from the comfort of their couches simply by following Pawsitive Alliance on social media and sharing the pet stories that are posted.
“The beauty of it is that by doing it virtually, people can help get these pets adopted by liking our Facebook page, sharing posts, asking questions, and doing things to get the public involved,” said Amy Ferguson, the Executive Director of Pawsitive Alliance.
Ferguson says that if WA locals are interested in helping out or volunteering, they can reach out on the Pawsitive Alliance website. Pictures and more information about all the animals in campaign can be found on the Pawsitive Alliance Facebook Page.
For two years, the Healthy Paws Foundation has continued their partnership with Pawsitive Alliance, supporting the nonprofit’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. #WhyNotMePets focuses on difficult-to-home pets, those who are left asking: “Why Not Me?”, and gives them an extra paw up to find a forever home. Every Wednesday Healthy Paws highlights a new pet from Pawsitive Alliance’s #WhyNotMePets campaign. You can visit the #WhyNotMePets page for a list of adoptable dogs and cats.
