Can I transfer my policy to a new pet parent?

Sure! If you’re passing the leash on to a new pet parent or simply want to change the name listed on your Policy Declaration, get in touch with us. Coverage is subject to all other terms and conditions of the Healthy Paws pet insurance policy.

Sit. Stay. Lower your payments.

You want your pet to get the best care possible. We’re here to help. If your monthly premium is a concern, let us know! Our plans are flexible, so you may be able to lower your monthly payment by lowering your reimbursement level and/or raising your annual deductible. That way, if the unexpected happens, your pet is still covered.

Wait! What about pre-existing conditions?

If you decide to cancel your Healthy Paws policy and you’ve filed any claims with us, injuries or illnesses that have been covered by your Healthy Paws policy will most likely be considered pre-existing and not eligible for coverage with another provider.

How do I cancel my pet insurance plan?

We get it — life happens. Here’s what you need to know to cancel your Healthy Paws pet insurance plan: 

  • Confirm policyholder

    Make sure you are the policyholder listed (aka the “Pet Parent”) on the Policy Declarations page.

  • Submit cancellation request

    Get in touch with us and include your name, your pet’s name, your pet policy number, and the reason for the cancellation.
